Pros: PC59 Lasted through hell and high water for 6 years .... and them blamo - actually broke the link in half. Local bike store replaced it with PC971 and it lasted only 6 rides before going tight and generally seizing up. This was road riding only on my MTB. Possibly installing the chain on worn chainring (but new gear cluster) caused it to stretch under pressure?
Cons: PC59 - lasted 6 years PC971 - lasted 6 rides
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: Broke the firt chain in the low range - which before then I had never used. Same with the new chain!
Rating: 4
Recommendation: No I would not recommend it to a friend

Pros: Very smooth when taken care of properly. Does'nt eat your gears under sticky shifting situations.
Cons: I snapped this chain after 3 months in a sprint.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I have to say that I'm disappointed in this chain. I looked it over before every ride and found no visual defects. After 3 months, I snapped this chain in a sprint. The thing flew off my bike and into the air. I looked at it and the pin was missing. Either my legs are stronger than I remember or this chain is acting up.
Rating: 2
Recommendation: No I would not recommend it to a friend
