Weyless MG-1 Magnesium Flat 162
Number of Reviews:   1
Average Rating:

The lightest MX-style flat 162 available! Ultralight forged magnesium bodies with replaceable traction pins, and cromoly axles that spin on sealed cartridge bearings - durable enough for true hardcore conditions, but light enough to help you make it up

Pros: VERY light, strong cro-mo spindle, nice bearings, removable stainless steel traction pins, easy to work on, very tough powdercoat type finish.
Cons: The pins on the flats are VERY LONG and should be about 1/2 of what they are, I suffered several 1/8" holes in my legs shin and calf that were deep enough to scar 4 months ago and still be clearly visable gouges in leg today! And the color is a FUNKY shade of light green, it would look better black or grey but they are neither, they call mgnesium but it is light green not magnesium.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: These are great platforms and would be better with shorter spikes and true color whatever the color might be, other than that these are well made with quality bearings and shafts and are no doubt the lighest platforms available at this quality, either get out a dremel and knock down the height of the pins or suffer the wrath of a missed pedal!
Rating: 3
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
