Pros: Solid, light, no protruding bolts. Looks good.
Cons: nope. I have nothing to add to that!
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: I replaced my OEM stem with an Elite to shorten my reach. It's performed flawlessly for over a year. Get the best, you won't be disappointed.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: Black or Silver, Al, Many lengths/ 0/5/15 degree increments. Stiff and Light! 4 bolt, wide clamp length (48mm). No bolts/ Nuts (except my own) to fall onto.
Cons: ?? None?? Not sold in combination with the seatpost (Quick call Bill Gates, he'll fix that)
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Of all the Stems I've ridden (XC), none have made me as proud as this one. Best looking, No Flexing, No Creaking sounds (I'm Heavy and I love to get over the bars). Thomson has given me this life time friend. (Smack on wood! Down with 1.5 standard) I'll buy another when I get another bike. I've already advised my friends to buy the stem. On friend went with a Salsa and he wishes he didn't.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
