Pros:
007 Stumpy is a sweet new ride for sure. 130mm of plush travel with the Fox Talas is a sweet set up for sure. The Avid Juicy's 8" hydraulics is totally plush. The bike came with the 27speed Avid X9 complete set up. Specialized has completed left out a small part of the frame this year. Down by the bottom bracket there "used" to be a 3" piviot " Part of the 4 link suspension" No longer!
Cons:
The paint styles for 2007's are horrible. The black & red is the best choice for sure.

I've owned the Specialized Stumpjumper style now for over 6 years. I've had them all, Raced and hit the jumps and technical decants for sure. I'm a 5'9" rider and I've ridden all the best diamond bike there’s to be sold. The Stumpjumper seems to become the perfect fit for me. This past Nov. 2006 I ordered the new 07 and it's truly change. Actually, I was shopping for a Heckler in the beginning. When I test rode the Stumpy.. I had to own the new and improved ride I’ve been committed to. I really wanted to change brands but this bike has fitted me to perfection over the years. Anyone who's in market for that 2k price range and needs travel plus light weight? This is the ride for sure! 5.5 travel and weighing in at 28lbs is amazing.

I saved for this mountain bike for nine months & I can honestly say that it was worth it! Yes specialized mountain bikes are renowned for being very pricey, but if you are into your mountain biking in a big way as I am then you will relies that the price tag soon makes up for it once you have ridden one!
