Pros: Bike handles very well and there is very little peddle induced bobbing--a very plush ride. A very good climber, nice components for the money (LX/XT der., Truvative cranks, Manitou Black fork, Fox Air shock, etc.).
Cons: For the price it should have disc brakes as standard equipment and a little better wheelset.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Overall a very good bike for the money. I've always ridden hardtails and this is my first full suspension rig. I bought mine on closeout for $1,250.00 from my local bike shop (retail was $1,599.00). For a mid-priced XC bike I don't think it has too many equals. Plus, the neat thing about it is you don't see a lot of them on the trail like you do Treks, Cannondales, GFs, Giants, Specializeds, etc. I would recommend this bike to anyone who rides XC. It's not a big hit bike but I have done a few drops with it and there is very little flex from the frame. I would buy another one.
