Pros: great value, excellent front shock (100mm), eye catcher, suitable for entry level XC racing, nobody else has one!
Cons: koski pedals are best used as paperweights, change-em.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: I found the 2002 version on closeout. Decent component group for the $$. Aggressive frame stance. Disc ready frame, may consider upgrading. This Marzocchi Bomber shock handled serious downhill XC racing (like 25mph surprise jumps) with predictable response. I have riden this bike HARD for 600 miles of single track, creek beds, and fireroads in central PA without any problems.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
