Pros: Great components, solid frame, excellent bike
Cons: Rear derauiller (sp?) needs adjusted often to shift like it should
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: This is a great bike for the money (359.99) when used for what it's made for. I ride this thing on all types of terrain almost everyday of the week at 6'4" 325 pounds and have had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. Most of the idiots on this board are trying to spend as little as possible and ride like they spent $4000 on a custom built hardcore bike--YOU GOTTA PAY TO PLAY @$$HOLES!

Cons: The bolt that holds the peddal on on the opposite side of the crank comes loose and may come off.

Comments: good full suspension, VERY smooth ride, but going up hills it kindof bounces a bit much, you lose energy going up. nice bike 4 the money.

Cons: pedals, disk breaks are manual

Pros: Somewhat light, 24 speed, adjustable preload, disk mounts, WTB V seat (comfy).
Cons: Horrible cranks, cheap platform pedals, paint scratches easily.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Mine was a Maverick Comp which is an upgraded version I guess. Although impressive (I liked the yellow/black paint), it lacks strength. The cranks began making creaking sounds, and eventually came close to breaking. Pedals are junk. Shocks froze up on me after riding in wet conditions. Rear brake lever broke. I took this bike through all kinds of terrain and maybe it's just not meant for it. My wife has a Maverick Sport and it's working out for her. I took the bike back and got a refund.

Pros: okay fork. The frame seemed not too heavy for the money.
Cons: your crank will break!!!!!!
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I bought a ironhorse maverick se the first day i road it the crankset stripped out and brike off. The second one they gave me had a messed up chain and shifted really hard using the top 3 gears or the third cog at all caused serious grinding noises even after the chain was fixed. The third one had the same shifting issues and the crank had to be tightened arter both rides finally the whole rear de-railer system feel off. At that point I got my refund and said hell with it. This bike has the worst chain line I have ever seen it is diagonal as hell which causes stress on everything else. If you dont want to be stranded buy something else.

Pros: Fork are adquate, Shifting is pretty smooth. Disc brakes are nice. Overall feel is good with frame.

Pros: The bike is light and its cheap. A bike for beginners.
Cons: parts are cheap, handlebars are awkward, derailler is crap(breaks easily)
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: my friend has this bike and i ride it sometimes. i dont like it, but hey it's cheap so it's worth what you pay for it. My friends only had it for a year and he's already sent it bac to the store (due to broken parts) 7 times!!! I definitely wouldnt recommend any hard mountain biking with this bike, maybe rides to the grocery store or on easy trails.

Pros: Nice paint job for a cheapie.
Cons: Heavy for a hard tail, even a cheapie. Flimsy Altus hardwear, cheap heavy cranks, stupid, small travel omni forks with stiction,
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: Hey it only costs AUS $550 so why complain. This bike is meant for learners and recreational riders, a RST fork with a decent 80mm is the bare minimum (very bare) for a rig you can call a rig. The maverick was built for a purpose, to give to your girlfriend to get her into riding.
