You get what you pay for.
Compare to some main-brand such as Giant or Cannonade, this frame feel very loose. I don''t feel it until I swap bikes with my buddy in the middle of the trial. The crank seems bent a little bit after the season, and the brake never stop well even I have new brakepads. the sarmx4 shifter looks like fisher-price toys. That said it shift very smooth and it works every time. The hub seems to have problem as the bike is getting heavier and heavier to pedal. And I can hear "seized bearing" noise in the rear hub.
On the other hand, this bike get me through some very rough trials and some hard abuse. The front fork handle rough pavement very well. I rarely have a chain pop. It always shift the gear I want. Indeed I never have to adjust the drive chain to get it shift properly. I am very impressed giving that they are low-end groupo. The only drawback is that it shift rough and slow.
I paid $160 used for this bike. I think it''s worth for what I paid. That said, I wish I have more money and buy a better bike with at least sarmx5 or Deore LX.
