Pros:
Great Price, the best bike i've ever had. Solid frame that gives you a bike that you can build and build.
Cons:
Would always be nicer to have deore lx fittings as standard. Could do with a better crank. I'm a big fella.

I'v really abused this bike so much and so hard that I honestly think it is time to put her to rest. She was with me in times of need. I have raped her to the out most limit, and she has survived. I'v taking 5 foot drops, and just remember I'm 100kg and still climbing, she is the best bike I'v ever had. She has never failed on me. She can handle my weight. It's gonna be hard to let go.

Pros:
Pretty nice look, (not too attractive and not dull) great stiff fork Marzocchi EXR comp (coil spring), Very good price for the parts that the bike offers.
Cons:
Pretty heavy for aluminum. Rear drop-outs get used pretty quickly from taking the wheel in and out often, Rear Deore derailler hits the chain stay so often that it is embarassing, BRAKE LEVERS HAVE ALOT OF FLEX, RIMS ARE VERY ORDINARY.

I think the rims were built by monkeys, the tension wasn't right, axles were TOO TIGHT giving a sandy feeling. TEKTRO should never be used on bicycles.
Even though those parts are pretty bad, the bike is still a great deal because of the frame and fork. THe deraillers are pretty good too.

Pros:
Kick-ass frame! Sun Ditch Witches very tough. Disk brakes on mine.
Cons:
warranty issue with bad race in freehub, have yet to get it fixed. Only one bottle cage mount, but I can add more.

Mine is a an '01 Ford Focus edition I bought used. This special edition came with an upgraded fork, gusseted head tube, and disk brakes not available on the standard. I'm just a beginning rider, but, this bike feels great! talked to Kona rep about the freehub, he suggested LBS might warranty, even though it is technically no longer covered, just haven't wanted to stop riding long enough to take it in!

Great frame, very durable. It's a sweet ride. Not to heavy the fork is great and its a very stable bike. I've enjoyed every ride on it.
Cons:
I the riser handle bar isn't my favorite other than that no complaints
