Pros: Great brakes and front sus. The Maxxis Ignitors have great grip. The Shimano 486''s will stop a Mack truck.
Cons: I really don''t have anything negative to say about this bike, other than a flat front tire after the ride with no apparent cuts...
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I have ridden this bike hard, and it delivered a great ride. Very smooth off of the small 5 ft''ers, and hooks up well in the loose turns.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: No I would not recommend it to a friend

Pros: Strong frame, durable and rugged
Cons: pedals=junk (now use Shimano SPD)
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: I ride this bike hard and I have never had any major mechanical problems other than recharging the forks and relubing the bottom bracket. I upgraded the tires and replaced the saddle too, but other than that, it's all stock.

Pros: Light Weight, Good Brakes, Good Front Suspension, Good wheels/hubs etc
Cons: Poor paint, poor pedals, poor grips
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Have had this bike for over a year now, no problems other than pedals are poor so swapped them and grips some times rotate on bars. I am 18st so need a strong bike for forrest trails, so far not buckled or bent anything. Easy to ride very controlable, have considered upgrading to full mountain bike but so far not convinced as this bike is sweet.

Pros: good, light frame. great gear shifting. comfortable ride position
Cons: wheels have become buckled often. bottom bracket needed replacing, due to it being broken. terrible brakes (have had real problems with them). also found the pedals were poor, changed for a set of flats.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: i think this bike was a bad buy for the type of riding i do, which isn't even that hard, mainly xc. as the bike has had quite a few fault with it through use. but would be a good cheap bike for a rider who rides softcore.

Pros: Everything but the pedals... I chenaged them for some Wellgo clipless (... those were better). Downhill is great 'coz its 100 mm fork and its disc brakes.
Cons: For me it's the perfect bike... It's mine!!!
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Hawaiian Style!!! yeah baby!!

Cons: Saddle, pedals.

Pros: All round great ride, handles well, brakes well, climbs well, well, does just about everything, well.

Pros: Light weight, great frame for the money. It is a Kona
Cons: None so far, paint may be a little flakey.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Great all rounder, XC trailriding. Most of my riding is here in Peru, from high altitude to coastal dester ranges. Have fitted Hayes discs, and Manatou Comp Coil 02 forks. Bike is sure footed, climbs well and is confident on downhills. Not a racer by any means, but them not meant to be. Im happy I stayed with a hard tail after trying out several full suspension bikes. Loads better than my old GT (stating the obvious)
