Great for both urban and trail riding i absolutley love this bike and will never ride anything but a norco ever again (word of advice though switch to disk brakes rather quickly cause even though the rim brakes are good the don't even match up to the capabilities of disks)

I put this bike through its paces and it didn't let me down. It is remarkably tougher than it looks. Fun for urban riding and for cross sountry. Very reliable. I've had mine for a long time and it still runs awsome.
