Pros: I have the disc brakes and they work great so far. Shifts great too. I actually like the seat, fits my butt fine.
Cons: Shocks suck. Pedals suck, they are entry level only. Cranks feel weak.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: 2007 Hardrock Comp I'm just getting into MTB. Former BMX'er. I love this bike but am ready for some upgrades. Getting new shocks and pedals first. Can't find a better bike for the dough. Add on as you go and it will be as good as any hardtail out there.

Pros: Strong as hell frame and wheels. good bike to build on.
Cons: Shitty pedals, brakes, and cranks.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: already ordered new pedals. about to rip off brakes b/c they piss me off. i'd be better off stopping myself by jumping off the bike. other than those problems, i love the bike. i would buy it again b/c it's so cheap and i can put what i want on it and still save money.

Pros: Handles great, easy to control in the air, good components.
Cons: Worst pedals in the world(minus disney bikes) Brakes are not to impressive.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Pedals have already been upgraded, big difference. I do a lot of street-trials-big air jumps-trail riding, it has held up great so far and I haven't had any real problems other than flats.

Pros: preatty good. heavy although but not that not really a big deal it rides well is what matters mostly. A good bike for begginers.
Cons: handlebars are a bit long. other thatn that you can upgrade a lot of things that why its kinda cool you can make it your bike.

Pros: Strong frame excellent value good wheels. Rapid fire shifters kick ass.
Cons: Tires suck seat is weak. Handlebars too wide. Pedals reminded me of cheese graters.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I replace the pedals already. Waiting till I finish wearing out these tires to upgrade them. I shortened my handlebars 3/4" of an inch on each end. That realy helped out a lot. I Ride this bike about 60 to 80 miles a week. It holds up well. Probaly about 10 of those are on single track. I jump it quite often as the frame is made to take abuse. I would by this bike again. Excellent one to upgrade which is part of what attracted me to it. Stronger frame than the rockhopper but it is heavier. I would buy this bike again.
