good frame, preety good rims. it is an overall good bike for mountain biking.
Cons:
the fork is poop for dirt jumping i bent the handle bars and snaped the crank arm right at the bolt.

Pros:
Same frame as the 4500 and 4900 with a wide range of cheap and decent components.
Cons:
The model was introduced mid year, so Trek catalogs didn't list the bike. Worst disc brakes ever.
Time Used:
More than 2 years
Comments:
After about a year of riding, I needed to swap the disc brakes after a minor crash with a tree (and I mean minor). But the rest of the frame is the same of the high product offerings. If you can find one used, a very good buy for a do-it yourself biker.
