Pros: I bought this bike purely as an entry level bike. It rides pretty well for a $300 bike. Frame and wheels have been very sturdy and I weigh 215lbs.
Cons: The rails on the saddle bent fairly badly, but I'm larger than the average cyclist.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: This bike has performed admirably for in the 2 years I've ridden it.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: This is a great bike for a first timer. The price is right and the bike comes equipped to handle the trails.
Cons: The only problem I’ve had is the seat moving on me one time when I was riding. After the ride I tighten the seat and it seems to be ok for now.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Overall this is a good bike for the price.

Pros: I think over all it is a good value. There just isnt anything spectacular about a bike for 300 bucks. havent had any problems with the wheels they seem sturdy.
Cons: I have had problems with it. The brakes seemed to take a lot of tweaking before the worked like they should. After compressing the brake they wouldnt clear the wheel on both sides. The biggest disappointment was when the handle bars bent approx. 7 degrees after i took a jump maybe 3 feet tall. at least they didnt break i guess... I also had problems with my seat moving at will. i tightened it as hard i could and it would still move at the slightest application of pressure. my crank makes clicking noises and have tried to tighten it several times and actually have that problem fixed for now. there was a time when the pedals would become loose but i have no explanation for that.

Comments: i know this sounds like a lot of problems but it really isnt that bad of a bike. like i said for 300 bucks they did the best they could...you have to sacrifice something for that price. i also am aware that many of the problems i encountered were a result of poor assembly on the part of the particular seller i purchased it from. i am giving it an overall rating of 3 because for the price it isnt all that bad...

Pros: Great Value, quality parts and great ride. I love the Rapid Fire shifters and the RST adjustable shocks work great.
Cons: I haven't discovered any yet but my experience so far is limited.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: This is only my second MTB. It is my first aluminum frame and it is awesome.
