Pros: Great climber, go anywhere do anything all purpose bike. This Bike excels on twisty fast single track and steep technical downhill chutes.
Cons: At extremely high speed the rear suspension chatters a bit over fast bumps that are close together. Mine is outfitted with a Fox DHX 5.0 . Possibly I have not set it up properly since I never owned a full suspension until this one. Kinda wish it had about one inch more of travel.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I bought this frame with a fox DHX 5.0 Rear shock, and bought a Pike Fork to go with it. I took my components from a Sasquatch and fitted them on the bike and compared to riding that hardtail its like comparing a Porche to a Pinto. This bike has all the great pedal power of a hardtail but allows me to take it down rough terrain faster than the Sasquatch ever could without getting bucked off like I would on a hardtail. I've taken it trail riding in Edmonton, and to bike parks in Panorama and Calgary and the the thing kicks ass. It is so low you can corner great at high speed and the Fox shock soaks up most of the small and medium bumps without a problem. While not a full downhill bike or a light cross country bike it gives you the best of both worlds with minimum drawbacks. I haven't taken it over anything more than a 6 foot drop but I'm sure it can suck up anything up to but not including the sick hucks.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
