Very good strength to weight ratio. Insanely stiff and strong. Especially when considering the 170mm of travel and the durability of a big hit freeride bike.
Due to the design, full monocoque, including the swing arm, the bike is very loud. Even the buzz of your freewheel is echoed throughout the frame.
This bike has a wonderful cockpit. Not to long and not to short. This bike truly is the ultimate trail weapon. I am running a fox propedal RC on the back and the new SPV Sherman Slider Plus on the front. I am running a heavy duty freeride styled parts kit and built this bike at 35lbs! Yes, a 170mm travel freeride bike that weighs 35lbs. The great thing about this bike is the blank canvas you start with. I set mine up so that I could ride it everywhere. It has somewhat of a XC geometry. You can change the entire feel just by switching shocks or changing forks and/or fork crowns. The frame allows you to create whatever feel you want! I would rate my personal bike a 5 star bike. It is exactly what I was looking for in an epic terrain eater. The reason I rate it a 4 star, is that it does require some thought, research, and time to dial it in with the parts kit that will make it right for you. With Mountain Cycles flexibility and parts swapping, this frame allows you to create a custom terrain eatin weapon that you would normally need to pay $5000 plus for.
The sin is sweet, especially if you like deep backcountry hucking where fossil fools are afraid to go because they can't pedal their beast up a hill. This baby can climb and then click the biggest of gaps on the way down.
