Pros: Price, price, weight, factory equipment
Cons: Seat post a little short, brake fade
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I just picked up an 07 model 4300 for $300. I went to Cameron Park in Waco, TX for my first ride on it. The terrain was quite a bit more technical than I expected. That said, I basically beat the hell out of this bike for an entire day, and it took every bit of it no problem. The brakes fade a bit on long steep downhills, but that is to be expected from V-brakes. Also, I have the seat as high as it will safely go, and it's a bit short. Otherwise, this is an awesome bike, and it was worth every cent of $300. If you're a beginner, buy this bike (over the Trex 3700 model), you will not be disappointed!
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
