Ritchey Tom Slick
Number of Reviews:   1
Average Rating:

The clear choice for people seeking to convert a 26" wheel bike to street worthiness. The tire is light for a wire bead and allows a high cadence. Perfect commuting or winter training tire.

Pros: Good handling characteristics, low rolling resistance, fast.
Cons: Make it more puncture resistant (with kevlar?). Here in New Mexico we have a real thorn (`goatheads') problem as they blow onto roads.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: Have had two sets of these tires and have had good success as a commuting / road tire. Front tire's sidewall failed yesterday, but fortunately was able to ride it back to start point. Two friends also have used this tire and like it.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
