Pros:
good quality for the price
Cons:
Hard to keep properly tuned, pivot is a bit on the wobly side
Time Used:
Less Than A Month
Comments:
I have trouble with the "majical gear shifts", very annoying when powering up a hill. After 2 trips to the bike shop and 2hours of riding and adjusting I finally got the thing dialed in. As soon as I get the money, I'm upgrating to the XTR Rapid Rise derailer.

The reviewer before me must be on crack, these derailleurs are great.I have a bike outfitted with all XT drivetrain except for the XTR rear cogs, and it shifts as good and has lasted as good as my XTR equipped bike.If your on a budget get the XT and ride.

Pros:
good for a stock part on a bike if you don't ride too hard.
Cons:
Weak, takes too long to shift while going uphill.
Time Used:
3 Months
Comments:
If you ride like I do and you flip over a couple of times and bang up on rocks etc.... then id upgrade to the XTR. If You're into moderate mountain trails then itll be fine. But who wants to do that?......
