Pros:
Light, looks, initial crispness shifting
Cons:
Wore out excessively fast. half inch of play back and forth. the first time I swapped a chain out, my derailleur spun around until the spring detensioned completely. there wasn't even a scratch on it yet. Shimano wanted nothing to do with me. the loop you need to make with the cable housing kept cutting the inner sleeve of my nokon housing because it moves so much riding. It was loud as hell, it bounced so much it wore right through the lizard skin i had on my chain stay. now there isn't any paint there.

Pros:
looks stealthy and works flawless,not one misshift and I bet the ba'jezus out of the thing. Love it!!
Cons:
The basterds at Shamano decided to give the LX the XTR treatment, now the look is no longer exclusive (JOKES!) Now I must upgrade to the shiney cheap lookin new one!!

I think as far as drivetrane are concerned, no corners should be cut(budget permiting) and rear derailer and chain should be alomost cost no option transaction..Beeatch!! Oh yeah, shifters too.

It didnt achive true greatness untill I matched it up with an XTR chain,XT rear cogs,RAce Face cranks,teflon cables and an XTR front der.
