Shimano Deore XT 9 Speed Cassette
Number of Reviews:   2
Average Rating:

9-speed chrome plated cogs. The bottom five cogs are mounted on an alloy spider to save weight. Compatible with Shimano or Shimano compatible chains and hubs.

Pros: Much cheaper than XTR, lighter than PG-990
Cons: None that can be contributed to the product
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Excellent. I've abused this thing for many months and it still looks new. One thing to watch for is the lock nut by the 11T cog. It can come off and cause you to have a bad day. I thought the darn thing exploded on me but all I had to do was put the nut on and tighten it up a bit and its good as new. Shifting is great, weight is low, price is right. I recommend this to anyone with a 9 speed drivetrain.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: It shifts as good as the XTR on the other bike at half the price.
Cons: none to speak of yet.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: I cant say how long it will last because I have only ridden one season on mine, but it shows no signs of wear.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
