Pros:
mud shedding, entry and release (after cleat modification, see below), provides a pretty good platform when you can''t ride clipped in, rugged (my 9 year old pair is still going strong).
Cons:
Initial entry and release can be quite difficult. I solved this by shaving the cleats down so they now release much easier.
Time Used:
More than 2 years
Comments:
My initial foray with these pedals resulted in a broken ankle because I got hung up in them on a rocky trail. I had the Speedgoat shaved cleat at the time and while I was healing, decided to cut them down more. They now release with a quick flick of the foot, although they will sometimes pull loose under very hard loads (like high bunnyhops). I have a pair of the new XEs on my cyclocross/road bike and they are also proving difficult to release from, particularly the left pedal. I''ll give them a little more time to break in before shaving the cleats.

Pros:
Easy entry, and exit in all conditions.
Mud, and sand are no problem for this pedal.
Cons:
Weight. Better, lighter pedals on market for around the same cost (think Egg Beaters).
Time Used:
More than 2 years
Comments:
The ATAC pedals came standard on my bike when I bought it 4 years ago. These are very comfortable, and durable pedals. The entry/exit is simply a no brainer with these. I've had Nashbar's, and Shimano's 747. I would take the Time pedals over either of those any day.

Pros:
Clear out mud easy, price
Cons:
weight, too heavy

The more I used them the better they get. Stan's has a weight reduction kit for 2x the cost of the pedals!

Pros:
Foot stays locked in well, easy to turn foot and release, more overall bike control
Cons:
Take some time to get used to(fell into a bush trying to release foot on first ride)
Time Used:
Less Than A Month
Comments:
Doesn't complicate trail rides, develops more balance, definite plus when hitting jumps.

Pros:
- Positive connection, click in with assurance. Works much better than SPD when bottom of shoes are muddy
- you can learn to twist and lift your foot to exit pedal as well.
Cons:
- Takes longer to get out of pedal than SPD
- Cheap plastic cap on ends of axle can fall out, allowing pedal to 'float' along axle. Did not fall off, but it complicated entering and exiting pedal.
- no, maintenance info with pedals.
Time Used:
6 Months
Comments:
- good for trails, not to technical cause of longer release time
- order extra end caps when you buy them

Pros:
flawless operation , even in the nastiest conditions , enough float to give me room to play , all scarred up from continuous beatin's without a hiccup
Cons:
not the lightest out there , but that's splitting hairs
Time Used:
1 Year
Comments:
Great set of pedals , improved my riding tremendously (these are actually my first set of clipless and they took a lot of bloody , bruised , over-the-bars , fall over locked-in in front a crowd of people , time to get used to , but well worth the effort.)

Pros:
These pedals work just as well in the muddiest conditions as they do on dry pavement. Coat the pedals and your shoes in gunk and you'll still clip in and out perfectly.
Cons:
Not for gram counters.
Time Used:
More than 2 years
Comments:
The ATACs are the best mountain bike pedals available. Work just like the more expensive carbon, etc but weigh just a hair more.
