Pros: Awesome riding bike. It really is a great ride and it will make you a better rider
Cons: If you ever have to have something taken care of that requires the warrenty coming into play cry. Everyone at Ellsworth sounds like the ycare but when it comes to following through they will suggest over and over that you buy a new frame from them to take care of your problem. They have a real hard time telling the truth but no problem selling it
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: I used to love my bike from Ellsworth until the frame cracked. Then I had to deal with cusotmer service, the warrenty department and Tony himself. I know its hard to believe folks... But I cant think of any good reason to remain an Ellsworth customer...they are not the only game in town and theres no reason to put up with their BS

Pros: Balanced light weight energetic ride. Annodising. Long life 4 bar construction.
Cons: A pain to feed the rear derailuer cable through the rear seat stay, but I've perfected a technique. Ghost shifting whilst climbing. Testing Avid Rollamajig. May also be a new cluster is in order. Ellsworth online recommend SRAM as a cure, but that was prob for older models. Their web site is way out of date.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Bought the 05 frame second hand with Ellsworth tuned Fox Float R. Built up as a lightweight trail bike: Hugi240/Supercomp/717, Float 100 RLC. XTR/FSA Carbon Cranks. Thomspm/Easton Carbon. All donoured from Jekyll or Blizzard sporting the TALAS. This thing moves across the ground surprisingly fast and is comfortable in all situations.

Pros: -Light frame which can be easily configured for trail use or for racing. -Bullit proof anodized finish, like the reviewer below pictures do not justice -Plush travel -"strong like ox"
Cons: - Expense - Large size frame standover height can be issue since the top tube is not made for more clearance..if this makes any sense..
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: My bike is set up as a trail bike, I have blasted this baby through rocky technical sections, bounced and jumped it over rocky descents. Constantly jump the truth over 2 foot drops at speed. No problems whatsoever, it's still tight as the day i bought it. Recommendation: Buy it, you will have no regrets.. As for Ellsworth customer service.. they are good, I have never broken anything (knock on wood) so I haven't had to purcahse replacement parts. The reviewer who complained about denting his rearstay should anticipate paying for his mistakes. No use complaining when you've caused your own misery. The price for replacement is fair i believe. You can't expect companies to pay for everything, their trying to run a business at the end of the day.

Pros: Climbs & Corners like a champ Anodized, dirt washes off with easy Plush ride, four inches of travel Heavy-Duty Bearings Light Weight Frame
Cons: Limited Sizes and stand over height No cable routing for Hydraulic cable Limited Customer Support Website has not been updated in over a year
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I have ridden and owned several FS bikes before settling on the Truth. I really like the anodized frame, which photos just do not do justice. Then there is the suspension that is all day plush and a great choice for endurance racing or trail riding. It is also a light frame at 5.4 pounds medium. While designed for use with a 100mm fork, for XC racing this frame is also great and stable with 80mm. The only issue I have had is at the start line of the race the suspension does not feel very snappy say like a Klein Adept. Hit the first fast down hill though and the Truth will out perform the Adept. I imagine the 2004 with the Pro Pedal shock will be snappier then my 2003. Ascending is the Truth’s strong point, it climbs over rocks and roots much better then say a Specialized FSR but I say equal to the Adept. The part I cannot understand is why Ellsworth will not provide a better way of running the hydraulic cable to the rear. Ellsworth expects the Truth frame to use V brakes. You need to run cable guilds and a Hope brake boss to have a half descent setup. I have seen some Truth owners with just zip-ties but this after awhile rubs the finish bare. I understand the ID, by design, does not have this problem. Other than this minor compliant all is well. All in all, I have no buyers’ regrets; this is the frame I have been looking for. It is a trail bike, it is a race bike, and it looks good doing either.

Pros: Weight, 'reputation', construction
Cons: Price, PRICE OF REPLACEMENT PARTS, price!
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Great XC bike, nice plush ride, made me a better climber. Only downside (and this is a major one) is the cost of replacement parts. I crashed (2nd time I rode the thing), and made a big dent in the seatstay. It rendered it unusable. No big deal right? WRONG--cost me $250 for a replacement part + $10 to ship my old part back + $8.95 s/h for the part from Ellsworth! All that, and it still might take 10 working days after they received the damaged part from me! I sent an email to Ellsworth complaining about the high price, they told me it was "at cost" but later admitted "like Sony and Honda--we need to make a profit on our replacement parts" (paraphrasing). $2000 for their frameset, and they still want to nickel and dime they're customers with overblown replacement parts costs!? I won't be buying another Ellsworth again simply for this fact, and am disappointed that they would take this kind of approach. Buyer Beware.

Pros: The Truth is the lightest and fastest bike I've owned, it makes the rider faster.
Cons: The only drawback is the price but, you get what you pay for with the Truth.
