Pros: I am reviewing the frame for this bike--it is very well built. Solid construction throughout. Nice clean welds, and very accurate frame geometry/alignment. Biaxially ovalized downtube, very burly dropouts, light weight (mine is 3.44 lbs.) Very quick acceleration, and decent steering.
Cons: I found that doing descnts in XC rides, there is a noticable springiness to the backend--keep your weight back, or endos are a possibility. However, I also think this a characteristic common to Ti frames.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: I am very happy with this frame--after 7 years of use it is still like new. Through my own fault the derailleur hanger wsa bent--it responded well to staightening using an alignment gague, and the dropouts proved to be very strong. It is tough, beautiful to look at, and rides like the wind if you have the fitness to make it shine. These frames were built by Tisport for Mongoose--this frame can still be purchased directly from them for around $900. Highly recommended.
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
