Pros: everything the bike handles great and try to find a better bike in the same price
Cons: low end crank but you can not have it all
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: over all it is a great xc bike and for the money it just does not get any better. the fox shox on front and rear are very plush the rear triad is great. also the float on the front could not be better for a smooth low travel fork. i ride this bike everywhere but the ski mountains it is just a great xc bike.

Pros: Full Suspension, good steering, great all around bike.
Cons: Front shocks too weak; the bottom out of jumps, seat too high have to cut it short. Air back shocks.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: Great bike but for a pro model it should have air front shocks. I have the 2002 model so that might be the reason.

Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
