Pros: Super light, durable and fast
Cons: No cons. Definitely a race bike, lacking the all day comfort of a trail bike
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: Great bike. Been riding it for close to seven years. It has been bulletproof through hard crashes and long races
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: great light race bike, 1 1/4" of travel takes off the hard edge but rides just like a hard tail.
Cons: none. purchased frame & wheels from trek then built up with my picks.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: not cheap but a great ride.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend

Pros: Light, short rear travel really takes the edge off of minor bumps. Great climber.
Cons: Head angle is a little too slack and makes it a slow steering bike. Bottom braket is kinda low. Price
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: This is my racing bike and it's great for that. I don't know if I'd take it on any long XC treks because it's purpose built. Haven't had any component problems but it took a while to get used to the way it handles. It's kind of qwerky on high speed corners but if you keep your weight over the front and hook up the front tire it will bite- you just have to make some extra effort.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
