Solid bike I have had this bike for over 10 years of almost constant wear and tear, I would recommend no other brand. This bike is built like a tank and requires little maintenance. I am huge into biking and use my bike to get everywhere. I don''t know what I would do without it.

Pros:
Excellent for town riding. Needs minimum of maintenance. My Mamba kept outdoor through the whole year - no problem - sit and drive.
Cons:
Weak for countryside riding. A bit heavy.
Time Used:

Comments:
My Mamba is my best friend. The best to get anyway in the town - no need to ride a car in the traffic jam paying for the fuel and looking for a packing place. Best of all - excellent device to be physically trained. This could be said ''bout all bicycle. But my choice - Mamba.

Pros:
Solid frame, holds up fairly well, good brakes, very low price for what you get.
Good lookin' too.
Cons:
Heavy, I've had issues with my front shifter being difficult, but the rear one works fine.
Time Used:

I love this bike. Great for a weekend biker like myself, perhaps not for a racer or hardcore mountain biker. Looks cool in silver and black, easy to work on. I've been a proud owner for 6 years, and I'm going to ride it until it dies on me.

Its a tank, it takes a lot
Cons:
Both Derailers slowly lost their lust and my back wheel bent apart gradually after many years of riding
Time Used:

Comments:
This bike is insanely tough, i threw it off a 25 foot cliff onto some train tracks one time when my breaks finally gave out and the frame is fine. The parts do slowly decline though, but worth it after 7 years or so. i have the orange one.

It is an awsome bike considering that i got if for $100.00 bucks, a really good price for a 15 year old. I want a full suspersion bike though.

Frame is a tank. I've rode hard both summer and winter and even crashed this bike. The frame is just like new. Fair climber and cross town (under 10 mile) bike.
Cons:
Heavy, weak brakes. Rear derailer should be upgraded. Did I mention it's heavy.

Overall this is a very nice bike for what it's meant to be. I also own a K2 full suspension for Sunday go to meeting type riding and the Fisher is to keep wear and tear down on the K2. I've been surprised more than once at it's durability, overall ride and comfort. Did I mention it's heavy :-)

I agree with the other posts, this bike is so rugged. I have taken mine down some really rough stuff even went to Colorado and it is really all the bike I need, even though I lust after a full suspension rig. I updated the shock a little after I drove in the garage with it on the roof. After three years nothing had to be replaced, still on original chain, tires etc. I did change to a serfas seat because the original was giving me problems in the love dept. If I could tear this one up I might replace it. Can't believe how well this sucker climbs.

first off, I'll say that i do like this bike even though the only good thing about it is the frame. have mine for almost 3 years (i'm a poor college student waiting to get a real job and a Santa Cruz) and i ride it on single track about 3x a times week and it still hasn't really fallen apart. i do beat the crap out of it and it still has held together, i'm surprised it hasn't fallen apart! the shifters are iffy, the rear der is shot, and the brakes are weak but considering what i put it through it's still a champ and i can still keep up with other riders on their $1000+ rides.

Pros:
I like everything about htis bike because I have never owned any real mountain bikes to compair it too.
Cons:
I never really did like plastic pedals on my bmx bikes and wound up replacing them for some shimano pedals with shimano clipless shoes. I also replaced the front wheel, but that was my fault. My tires didnt seem to hold up that great so they were gone. My next addittion will be a set of disc brakes. The stock ones dont seem to quite have the stopping power I would like.

I have ridden quite a bit on this bike in the Cabinet and Bitter-root Mountains as well as Black hills and yellowstone for the past three years and it was good. I rode the Hiawatha Trail (Bitterrooots) from bottom to top and back and never fretted. This ones even a lot more comfprtable to ride to the library than amy old Free Agent flat land bike.

Extremely great frame... you can throw that frame through anything and it will hold up! Shocks are perfect as they are adjustable. Shifting is effortless.
Cons:
I've had a little trouble with my brakes, but nothing that you can't fix. Plastic pedals are worthless unless you glue your feet to them. I upgraded to Crank Brothers Eggbeater Pedals with Nike ACG clipless shoes.
