Pros:
An excellent bike, especially for the beginner. Price in proportian to quality is great.
Cons:
None, considering the price I've paid I don't complain!
Time Used:

Comments:
I am a relatively beginner, started mountainbiking a couple of months ago, together with some more experienced guys. Although I'm the beginner, with my bike I don't have to be ashamed of myself. Until now, I can cope with the other guys who are more experienced and do have better equipment.

Inexpensive but not cheap. Lightweight. Can take a beating & just keeps going.
Cons:
None, cosidering the money paid
Time Used:

Comments:
I rode this bike for three years, and seldom had a problem with it. I ride a couple of times a week, and have ridden over 2,000 miles on this bike. Replaced the front fork with a manitou, and replaced the rear rim when a branch got stuck in it & tore out six spokes. It's a good starter bike. Tires are more for pavement than serious off roading.

It's been an awesome bike. I have really come to appreciate mountain biking after getting the Rincon. Was my first bike and am completely happy with my purchase. Looking to upgrading to a full susp. The Rincon is a great bike for beginners to decide if you like mountain biking or not.

this bike was great for me. i upgraded to Deore derailleurs and shifters, and i put Crank Bros. Egg Beaters on it, and it is way too fun. I use it to get to school as well as actually riding, and its indestructible. i do things on this bike that most people wouldnt do on a full suspension bike, and i have had to replace the rims (Mavic 221 w/ Deore hubs) and now its even tougher than before. Works great for me! Now i'm ready for an '03 Giant VT2, not that i have the money. (Id still keep the rincon for gettin around town!)

This a a great bike. It has an RST shock that holds up on the jumps and the bikes handles well for me on the single track. Other than the pedals, I have had no probs with this bike.
