First MTB That i have owned annd its is a great riding bike i would hawever not recomend it because of the duribility of the parst that come with it i would probably recomend a higher end jamis bike

Durable and kept up with higher end bikes on an epic.
Cons:
lower end components otherwise not too much bad

I love this bike and it is a very good bike for the person that isnt sure whether or not they want to get into riding because it isnt that pricey and it is very durable.

Pros:
low end price is great 300.00. Good ride, shift and brake. Suspension Nsync shock yields a high end response
Cons:
Low end components, bottom bracket needed replacement. Seat post cheap.

Exchanged seatpost for rockshox...rides superb on florida palmettos...Overall...bicycle is a workhorse for the price.
