Pros: this is a sturdy rig, the marzocchi shocks are very durable, standard v-brakes
Cons: heavy bike, had trouble with gearing,
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: this bike is great for city ridding, and low level walking tracks, as soon as i got it i changed the seat, pedals and brake pads, just a little too much plastic, but for a first bike, i recomend it. norco is a great brand so you wont be buying junk.

Pros: Good value Trusted name components Made in Canada (not US)
Cons: If you're a bit vain you won't be happy with the TT fork or the Acera derailleurs (front and back)
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: A good value entry level bike - if you don't need to do anything too hard going. I frequently ride with my 2 yr old on the Co-pilot so it suits me just fine. Shop set up came with a decent frame (7005) and although bottom end mainly Shimano components, these are all working well and there's no real crap on it (I intent to upgrade as my needs change). My main bugbear is paying the salaries of the marketing dept. via overpriced heavily brand gear and there's no danger of this on the Kokanee at GBP250.
