i bought my evo 2 about two and half months ago and i love the way it rides, when it works that is. it seems like every time i go out on it something brakes, usually involving the gear mechanisms. and the steerer went after the second ride, but orange did replace it with a better quality item. oh, yeah, if you are a fatty like me you will need the firm spring kit for the manitou forks cos they are so soft as standard! but if you ask youre dealer nicely they might swap them for nothing! so all-in-all a sweet bike, just with some crappy components! but i`d buy it again if i had the choice!

Pros:
seems good quality, well made, well balanced and English..if u like that..
Cons:
a lot of competition at this price, and some components are inferior to frame, or the frame is just really good.

I am looking to purchase a bike in this price bracket and so far it looks like it will be this. please ignore childish pathetic comments made by the first person in this review list,called phatt or something. we all are entitled to opinions but I think they should be ignored when they are childish irelevant ones, and I hope he grows up soon. and I am not gay!

Pros:
Fast, jumps high, goes down hills fast. Good brakes, good forks.
Cons:
Non really... seat is a little uncomfortable.

This is probably the best bike I have ever ridden, and currently available on the market today. I think I would be a good few seconds faster if I was alowed to use this bike for my downhlling exploits
