I've only been using this helmet for a short time but so far realy like it , it doesnt move around while riding and sits comfortably . All in all a verry good buy .

had t add extra cushioning in certain areas to get a proper fit.

This is a great all around helmet which gives you more vetilation than other comparable helmets. The straps are very adjustable and keep the helmet snug under all situations.

Pros:
Excellent ventilation, very comfortable, light, doesn't shift on my head.
Cons:
Cushioning isn't the ultimate (damning with faint praise). Poor graphics for such an expensive helmet (in 2002 - better in 2003).

This helmet was such a vast improvement over my old Bell. Much more comfortable and cool, this thing doesn't shift on my head. Other helmets had more cushioning (e.g. Giro) and yet were not as comfortable. It's as if Specialized already knew the shape of my head! A bit expensive and I was disappointed with the monotone colours offered in 2002 on such a high end helmet. Luckily (for you!) they fixed that in 2003. Fit is dependent on your head shape - not for all.
