Pros: I keep coming back to Hammer gel because of its convenience, and effectiveness. As a 57 year old mountain biker, I fatigue easier than younger riders. This stuff keeps me going, and feeling good. And, no messy single serving packs to litter the trail.
Cons: Not all the flavors taste great. I like the raspberry.
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: Hammer gel is made by a sports nutrition company with a committment to making the best products and having users understand what works and why. Cost is reasonable. They used to supply a little dispenser for trail use; not sure if they still do.

Pros: Cool name and enough energy to keep you bouncing for a while
Cons: Tastes like crap! Hard to find!
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: It'll do in a pinch for me but I'll stick to GU.
