Velocity used their time tested Deep-V rim not only for it’s wind cheating properties but also for it’s lateral and torsional strength. Using 14 gauge spokes in a 1 cross pattern the number of spokes are reduced to further increase the wheel’s aerodynamic properties while still maintaining structural integrity and rigidity. To round out the package Velocity laces a uniquely designed hub with reinforced flanges that has 3 sealed bearings on the drive side and 1 on the non-drive side for years or service free miles. The overall result produces the ideal blend of lightness, aerodynamics, strength and affordability that is sure to make this wheel a winner for many years to come. We offer 2 models, 20 spokes for riders under 180lbs. and 24 spokes for riders over 180lbs. Specify Spoke Number: 20 or 24 Spoke. Specify Model: Campagnolo or Shimano.
