Pros: light, strong and goes down hill aswell as it climbs
Cons: the fitted factory tyres are a bit poor in really muddy situations they tend to slip.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: The bike rocks in my opinion looks great rides like a dream, i came from a hardtail and this has been my first full suspention bike and it has embued me with confidance on trails, if you want a bike that can do most mountain riding bang some aggresive tyres on it and hit the trail.

Pros: Feels just the way you'd want if your used to a hard tail, and a full suspension bike doesn't do it for you
Cons: The model I have did not come with disc brakes
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: My old bike (Trek Y22) was stolen out of my garage. I am glad. My replacement bike feels so great that I am out riding all the time now. Teh Brain has worked great and is not just a gimick.

Pros: Suspension works as advertised. Very good climber. Good all around bike.
Cons: A little on the heavy side. Not sure about the rear shifter cable routing choice.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: This bike is winner. Just a pleasure to ride. Would like to see one in carbon! If you have been on hard tail bikes like myself for a long time and want a full suspension bike, this is the one for you.

Pros: the bike dances across singletrack and corners very effectively. Climbs extremely well.
Cons: wish i had new adjsutable threshold shock on the 04s
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: I have ridden this bike all year and absolutely love it. If you like hardtails but have interest in full suspension, then this bike is perfect for you.

Pros: Excellent climber, good clearance, laterally stiff, carves a great line, very adjustable. Improved my PR on ALL of my favorite trails!
Cons: A little heavy and the ride does take some getting used to.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: The Brain gets the job done pretty much as advertised. It does take some getting used to but then don't all new rides? The local trail has a section that my old hard tail demanded me to be out of the saddle (OOTS) for. The Epic requires OOTS only when hitting the first big bump of that same section but from the landing on, this nasty section is now an in the saddle ride. Much more efficient. Climbs better too sitting or standing but it is in it's element when seated, something I could rarely do on these climbs with my hardtail. I am still dialing it in which should give even better results.
