Pros: It weighs 3 lbs. I weighed it. With a little massaging, it works very well. Smooth. Very stiff laterally. A lot stiffer than my SID. I actually prefer it to the SID.
Cons: The stupid foam washer installed on the air leg. (inside) The damping adjuster doesnt do much. After sitting for 5 minutes it will stick initially, but as soon as you move it, it moves smoth and solid
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: This is a good fork, but...remove the foam washer from the air cartrdige. (They say it just needs break in, the hell with that, throw it away) I don't use oil in this fork or my SID because I like them to rebound pretty fast. Use the Manitou clear lube (Microlube) that is a little thicker than the old green stuff, and it will slow the travel down perfectly without oil. Who needs the weight anyway. It is much stiffer than the SID. (I am a little dissapointed in the SID.) The travel on the RST is very smooth. After hammering on it for about 150 good rides it is holding up perfectly. The seals allow a little of the lube to pass onto the stanchions, more so than anything else I have had, but that poses no problem. The cost of this fork is phenominally low. If you are on a budget try it out. If you want a stiff light fork try it out. The travel of the 100 mm feels good for cross country racing. 80 on the SID is good, but that extra length feels better on the rough downhill stuff. Don't be afraid of it, just realize there may be a few minor things to change like I said earlier and there may be a few idiosyncrasies. I will be racing this fork in the GAP series this summer. I think it will do well.

Pros: Cheap reasonable amount of travel
Cons: Poor damping Heavy
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Have used this fork for a while and hasn't stuck at all. As said it has poor damping but for £70 can't expect too much, Oh nad it does have its full 100mm of travel.

Pros: Can't think of any yet
Cons: Doesn't work...sticks a LOT!!!!!!!!!
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Has anyone had success getting this thing to actuall work. It sticks so bad I just as well take it off and put on a non-shock fork.
