shimano! i have replaced my rear derailleur, and completely gotten rid of my front and gone single front speed. i upgraded to the deore which is better, but sram x5 if you want this bike to last longer.

this is a great bike. i made some custom upgrades because i couldent stand the front derailleur. i just took off the lower and upper gear and stuck with the middle chainring and removed the front derailleur. since i got the bike i have replaced... chain (x3), cassette, rear rim, rear disk, rear derailleur, pedals, brake levers, and shifters. this bike does really good with bumps and jumps also.

Good bike for downhills and jumps.
Good suspension and tires.

I donīt like Shimano.

Tough components & frame. Great tires & rims. A great value for the money.
