Pros: the frame is perfect but the componets suck so i had to spent money on my bike, i am riding an stp 2 frame 2007 on ditch witch rims 24'' with a 24seven front hub, schwable crazy bob rear tyre and schwable table top front, i have argyles 409, holzfeller stem, truvartiv team handelbars, x-light bar ends, giant lock on grips, saint crankset with 34t shimano dxr chainring, dmr 16t single speed kit, half-link diamondback pro chain, e-thiteen bash-guard, shimano dx pedals, troy lee design seat and as a bike mechanic i changed my screws on my rear hub in order to fit a 203 mm rotor with clarks climp8 brakes. now the bike is sweet it's the perfect bike for jumps, 4x and all mountain
Cons: if u want a good factory bike go for STP ZERO but if you want a good custom bike that you can make it better as you are getting better then choose an STP 2
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: the best bike ur money can afford but you must spend money on it, trust me it worths it

Pros: i like the frame and the size, its easy to move around and pull a few sick tricks out your ass
Cons: seems to bend a flex around a bit, i dunno if it was just me or all the stp2's are like this but every time i go for a ride i need to take an allen key to keep tightening the crank, both sides! at one stage i jumoed and the crank fell off mid flight!!! and when ever i seem to go street riding and do alot of bunny hops it comes loose very quick.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: its ok for a starter bike, strong ect, very solid but the crank is ver poor, im nit riding very mych at all any more but if i where to ever buy as bike again, i woukd not go for another giant, norco or banshee's are the way to go in my opinion

Pros: Great Frame Tough as Nails overall Slick looking Awesome Value
Cons: Crappy Fork(XC MZCOMP) Chain Slaps really badly
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: I really love this bike! Considering the fact that you can find it for around $400(US) it's a sweet deal. The frame alone competes with bikes that are three times the price. I mainly ride Urban but definately do some trail riding. Not the most ideal for long trail riding due to the smaller/shorter jumping geometry but this can handle almost anything. I have taken many a 3-5 foot drop onto flat concrete and the bike has eaten it up. Rims will need to be trued once in a while but they have never gone too bad, even taking a drop with a blown tire!(Didn't realize it until I heard the loud "bang!")
