Pros: cheap. bought on nasbar.com for $14.
Cons: picks up interference that the computer interprets as speeds in excess of mach 2. especially in a city
Time Used: Just Once
Comments: tin foil!!! it's an easy fix. line the bottom of the computer with a layer of tin foil and sandwich it between the bracket and computer. be sure to leave an excess 1mm or 2 around all the edges. this will effectively eliminate the white noise and only pick up (what should be) the strongest signal coming from the transmitter. obviously not an ideal situation but it works like a charm.

Pros: Works ok when going forward and easy to install.
Cons: Very suceptible to wireless interference from traffic sensing devices at traffic lights. I would be stopped at a light and the wireless transmitter for the roadway sensing loops would cause the speedomter to read 78 MPH while I was standing still. This happened 3 or 4 times on my first ride with this thing. The guy at the LBS said the cheapo units tend to use "common frequencies" that might be affected by other wireless gadgets. The other thing is that if left unattended, it goes to sleep and doesn't turn on when you get back on the bike - you have to remember to manually turn it on.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: I put it on a beater bike. I can't depend on a bike computer that has the above 2 flaws. I want accurate distance measurements and it would be all outta whack if the wireless interference had me going 80 miles an hour while standing still and would register no distance if I forgot to turn it back on after a rest stop.
