Pros: geometry is excellent. was riding a full suspension 26'er and it was nice but i thought i owed the 29 a "go". Not disappointed w the 29 it was a pleasure to be free of the gears and have those big wheels help me over most stuff. decent SS race bike, could use upgrades.
Cons: creaky eccentric bottom bracket, must clean eccentric after every heavy hard ride. watch out for the narrow clearance in the rear, i shaved my wheels w a razor to avoid frame rub w Kenda Novengals (sp?).
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: good value, fun experiment into 29 SS. live on 29! You might want to ride w your itunes to block the creaking.
Rating: 4
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
