Pros: Well, the disk brakes are pretty cool because Ive never had disks before except on my dirt bikes lol, the fame is awesome and just the overall look of the bike is great.
Cons: Cant really think of any except the tires have worn down pretty quick, but I can live with that.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: This is the 1st real mountain bike Ive ever had and its way better than the BMX bikes Ive had. I bought it for cross-training because I race dirt bikes in the woods.

Pros: A lot of bike for the money: strong light frame, pretty good components. Hayes mechanical disk brakes. Truativ crank. RockShox fork.
Cons: These aren't so much cons for the price I paid, but more a list of the things I will upgrade as I get tired of them. Tires aren't aggresive enough. Front derailleur is sloppy. Rear cassette is only 8 gears. Don't let Dicks Sporting Goods do your regular maintenance. If you're going to ride in mud & water, you need to pack the hubs & crank with more grease than they use.

Comments: This is my 1st mountain bike, but I commuted for 18 years on an old Schwinn 10 speed with carbon steel frame. This is so much lighter. I can ride this almost as fast in the dirt as I rode the Schwinn on pavement. I'm already doing technicals - popping wheelies & doing bunny-hops - jumping logs & rocks - splashing through streams & plowing through swamps. I wish I had done this years ago, but then I couldn't have afforded this much bike.

Pros: Sist of componentsSolid list of components. At 6'2" 270 lbs. I really wanted a solid tail mountain bike as I bounced around like crazy on the one full suspension rig I tried out. This one holds me without a problem.. I will enjoy riding it a lot more then my last bike... keep in mind though that was a Solid fork Wal-Mart Huffy so I am probably pretty easy as Bike consumers go. Ipayed $274.00 W/coupon. From shopping around Ican say this is alot of bike for under 3 bills.
Cons: Can't really think of any off the top of my head.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: For "bang for the buck" riding you really cannot go wrong here. I like it alot more then the $3,000 bike I borrowed from my brother in California.

Pros: Stiff frame. Nice components, great price.
Cons: no damping in the fork, but not expected at 3 benjamins. oh and the bike techs at dicks sporting goods are horrible. i was watchin them try to tune the shifting. they couldnt get onto the big ring in the back and kept tryin to adjust the overtravel screws. LOL, i told them to stop and gimme my bike, I'll fix it.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: i love my bike, only used it twice. had a fully suspended haro xls 2.0 before and like this bike better. and it was about 1500$ cheaper

Pros: A Ton, it an wasome bike for the cost, u really cant beat it. Preety light and it eats up hard terrain. Ive already taken it out on some preety technical trails and it did awsome. Hayes disks are good and the Rock Shox front fork.
Cons: No to many. Ive bottomed out the susspension but u could barely tell. The rims seem like they r a no name, there is no markings on them.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Its weird beacuse the Iron Horse website doesnt even have this exact model on it. It may be beacuse i bought it a Dicks Sporting Goods, i dont kno. Im guesing it is something like the Warrior Expert or Comp on there website. I chose this over the Diamondback Response sport, iand im glad i did.
