Clif Bar Inc. will increase its support of mountain biking and trail advocacy this year through its involvement in four important IMBA projects.

Clif will fund IMBA/Clif Bar Trail Preservation Grants and continue to provide CLIF BARS for IMBA club trailwork projects. CLIF SHOT will support IMBAıs National Mountain Bike Patrol. Clif and Performance are co-promoting IMBA individual membership.

"Clif Bar is one of IMBA's very best partners," said IMBA executive director Tim Blumenthal. "They're always thinking of new ways to help mountain biking. These varied projects will inspire mountain bikers everywhere to continue to blend conservation work with their trail development efforts."

Gary Erickson, Clif Bar owner and CEO said, "IMBA embraces the growing importance to protect our trails and open spaces, through their advocacy and strategic plans. Sustaining our longtime partnership with IMBA is important to us, as mountain biking and support for the environment have always been at the very core of our company's heritage."

A leading maker of all-natural energy and nutrition foods, Clif Bar Inc. has been an Above-and-Beyond IMBA corporate member since 1995 and has donated more than 50,000 CLIF BARS to fuel IMBA-affiliated trailbuilding and maintenance projects.
