Poorly engineered. Lots of sway when loaded and the straps are horrible to manipulate.

Although the manufacturer claims that this rack is adaptable to a 2" hitch receiver, it really wobbles and sways when loaded. We had a 6 hour round trip and I was truly concerned about the safety/durability of the rack. It was nerve racking and I would not recommend it. I plan to return it and buy something more secure.

Pros:
It looks good in all three colours but it is very badly designed.
Cons:
1) The straps used to secure the bike/s to the outward arms are so badly positioned securing the bike is not only very difficult but requires a great deal of finger strength. In the winter this would be a real nightmare.
2) Assembling the 6 legs into the correct positions and securing to the car is a right pain - I tested this with my wife who succeeded in the end but agreed it was a terrible design compared to past bike racks.
3) The flimsy thumb screws used to secure the arms and legs to the aluminium spine are again badly designed. When assembled and tightened the whole structure wobbles around due to huge tolerances. The only real security to this rack is gained from strapping it to the back of the car and tightening up the straps as tight as possible – how long that would last I’m not prepared to say.

Don't waste your money. There are lots of better designed bike racks out there, check all the reviews, you'll soon notice that it gets ratings on looks rather than functionalty and most good reviews are full of complaints about damage to paint work etc...
