Pros:
had this shock w/Brain for 4 years and has worked extremely well. don''t ride hard but ride a lot and the shock has been reliable, fully functional makes the bike worth owning a fully suspended bike.
Cons:
no cons. 4 years and basically no maintenance. fill it up and go. slide the lever or roll the dial, it exceeded everything i could expect.

after 4 years the seal on the Brain failed, won''t hold air but for a few miles. 1000''s of miles and 1 failure, that says a lot.

Worked great in the beginning
Cons:
Overtime have to inflate. Sent in for repairs once. Now out of warranty. Air is gone at the end of one wk without any use.

Great shock! Easy to use and set up. Plush when needed and firm when needed

The morons that disliked this shock. The idiots dont know anything about mountain biking and need to shutt the hell up

Pros:
Easy to maintain (I use Lizard Skins to keep the muck off). Light weight.
Cons:
Can't rebuild the Nitrogen Chamber at home, so it has to go to Push or Fox for overhaul.

I replaced the air chamber seals at home in 45 minutes with parts that cost me 20 bucks. That was in Oct 04 when the shock was 2 years old. Now the Negative air chamber has air trapped causing a "Stuck Down" condition according to the owner's manual which is cause for it to go back to either Fox factory or Push Industries in Loveland for overhaul. Overall, this has been a very reliable shock, given that it IS an air shock. All my friends are surprised that it has lasted this long so I suppose I have been doing something right!

I cannot run this shock sagged out, the self adjusting negative spring makes it feel as if its a hardtail, and it wont soak up bumps, Its junky, and weights alot. It has lasted a year without rebuild
