Pros: Takes huge hits, smooth, adjustablity, super light weight. Inspires one to take bigger risks-with success
Cons: Flexy. Twithcy. Uncertain disonnected feel.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: Just guessing that weight reduction has yielded sacrificed rigidity and control. This product is worthlees as you cannot steer the bike. Will keep novice riders from ever learning what real mountiain biking is about. Ccannot do its job well enough to use. Wonders and will dump you in a washout. CAUTION- even the steerer tube is weak. Feels like a falt tire all the time. If it would go stright, and take big hits, it would be great. But it can't do both.

Pros: Supple and adjustable.
Cons: Poor quality control, loses air.
Time Used: 1 Year
Comments: Lost 1/2 its air on the first ride. Turns out Fox shipped early shocks with a bad wiper seal. Fox sent me a new seal N/C and I replaced. Held air for about 2 months and then started losing air slowly. Fox reluctantly sent me a rebuild kit N/C and I replaced ALL of the seals. Still didn't hold air. By the end of the summer, it was losing 30 pounds per ride. I took the shock off the bike and checked for leaks using water. Turns out it was losing air through the valve. Upon inspection, I found the tolerances of the valve and body to be off just enough that I couldn't fix it. Rode with the shock pump in my pack for the rest of the season and sent it back to Fox this winter. Fox did a total rebuild N/C and replaced the bad parts. Only time will tell now. Bought a Cane Creek AD-12 and will use the Fox as a back-up.
