Comments:
i got this bike at a really good price and in my size (small) which is hard to find. i'm 5'1" and 110 lbs so a small frame that is comfortable is hard to off the shelf. i got a really good price at a local store so i couldn't resist. i didn't get the disc brakes only because i only ride on the weekends and i can't justify the additional cost. this is a great all around bike for the cost. i had a motiv from costco for years - great bike, good cost, light weight - but i think i'm going to use this jekyll even for commuting everyday. it is very responsive, good braking, shocks work great. i have to get used to the clipless but otherwise i can't complain. if you're looking for a good all around bike for a little over $1000 this is the one to get. don't get the female version. it's only a little bit lighter but the colors are awful. why do they always have to make female bikes in pastel colors - i mean this is supposed to be a mountain bike! i love the fact that it's the same frame as the one on the 1000 and the 3000. i eventually will upgrade to disc brakes and probably change the seat out. i can't complain about this bike. i wish cannondale kept the lefty on this year but i can wait.
