Great design and structure, the frame is wide and unbielevably strong and rugged. Shifters and brake components are great no problems.
Cons:
One peice coda crank....you cant change one damaged chain ring. Single aluminum wheels are a little weak for a rough rider like myself.

I made a few upgrades (crank, rims, riser bar and a tune up) and the bike has gotten me through everything. I tumble quite a bit and the bike stays tough. I love the v because if you come off the sadle you dont get cracked(if you no what i mean). The rear shock has some bob, but i am no pro and i enjoy the flex. I feel it helps me navigate tougher downhill trails. I have nothing to compare this ride to, but i have no desire to buy a newer fancier bike. I love this bike!

Pros:
Plush, solid, spot-on ride. Will work with about any fork, but headshocks are lightest and stiffest.
Cons:
Headshok needs special tools to service.

This design has been around for what? 15 years? See how many times it has been copied by other bike companies? So many times I've said to myself, "Oh shit, this is gonna hurt!" only to have the bike get me through it onscaved.

Best bike for the buck! I bought this bike used for $250 alittle over a year ago and continue to be imprest with the bikes all-around feel. With somewere around 3"-4" of travel its not a huge downhiller but is very easy to handle in rough terrain. Corners with confidence, and climbs like a mtn. goat once you adjust to sitting on the front of your seat. I have tost the head shock for a Marzocchi Z5 QR20 by using some addapter, and tried several air and coil rear shocks. Once you get it how you like it there is really trail you can't ride with it.
