Pros: very strong frame it's been dropped 8' with no problems, the head tube angle gives it stability on the downhill
Cons: the seat tube angle is to steep, for riders over 5'6" the seat post will be in danger of being bent, the travel in the rear position is 4.5 and is not enough for real freeriding, the fr1500 in my opinion is a perfect replacement, it corrects the seat tube and ads more travel and sells in more sizes than just small, but if you are a shorter rider, and lighter, the seat will not be high and the travel would be enough.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: great trail bike for smaller riders it would be the strongest and most stable trail bike out there, for 5'8" riders, me, you'll need a 100mm stem and a thomson seat post to withstand the angle, the romic shock is great.i'm rating this at the highest because it is not khs's fault that i'm 5'8" and heavy!
Rating: 5
Recommendation: Yes I would recommend it to a friend
