Pros: its the ultimate freeride bike! quality & pedigree, will take on anything & survive. full on mx look
Cons: full on mx looks, jokes about where the engine goes get on ur tits.
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: this bike is far better than an intense m1, kona stab or mtn cycle tremor(ive got these as well) it pedals great, descends & corners like its glued to the ground. ive thrown it down and off everything and it comes back in one piece everytime. it works great with the fox shock but its unbelieveable with the 5th element shock that Ive added, yes it weighs 40lb with shivers on but stick it in the granny ring & it will pedal up the hill if you want. since having it, my other bikes get left at home a lot more. I LOVE THIS BIKE!

Pros: Burly as hell. I love this bike. Pedals much better than I thought it would. Eats up big drops and feels nimble on the DH runs. Pretty good mix of components. Love the new Hayes Brakes w/ 8" Rotors. Excellent braking in gnarly New England conditions.
Cons: This bike is Heavy (47lbs or so with the Monster T-but rides lighter than it feels at first impression). The Monster 2 fork makes this more of a full on DH ride than a Freerider...Go with the Super T option if you really want the most versatile version of the RM7. If DH or big hits is the majority of your riding, stick with the Monster...the only bummer is that there is no external adjustment on this fork. My only other complaint is the Alex Rims....they don't hold up to the abuse like the rest of the bike.
Time Used: Less Than A Month
Comments: Overall, this bikes rules for a freerider with true DH capability. You get Rocky Mtn/Marzocchi quality and performance for a pretty good price. As I said before, go with the Super T if this is your only bike for use in trailriding, freeriding and DH. If you don;t mind a little extra weight, you will love this bike. It will stand up to far more abuse than I will ever be capable of throwing i'ts way, and I ride like pretty f*%#ing hard.
