Pros: It shifts well
Cons: The shocks are weak. The frame oxidizes
Time Used: More than 2 years
Comments: I will never buy another Trek product, after two oxidizing issues on the frame and the last one refused to be repaired by Trek. The bike was used for commuting and is too heavy for this purpose. It certainly is not the best bike for the trail, one hard landing and the front and rear shocks are dust. Not just disappointed but disgusted with Trek, will never own another or give advice to anyone to do the same.

Pros: full suspension bike for a low price
Cons: crapy derailleurs, not really suited to city riding
Time Used: 6 Months
Comments: i found this bike was good for trail riding and the price was very good for a full suspension bike. anyhow its performance on the road was very average. stick to the trails with this bike.

Pros: It is great bike for trail riding. It also jumps good too. The suspension works good.
Cons: It could be a little lighter in the frame.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: All i do is trail ride in the deep woods and my bike is awesome. The only thing i dislike about it is that my left side crank arm allways some how loosens itself, but other then that i love it. It is my 1st mountain bike.

Pros: very good all around bike. This was my first mountain bike and I just love it. the price will not run you out of the store and is very functional. Great bang for the buck.
Cons: If you are short you will need to have your dealer cut the seat post down to have enough room for the rear shock to function. Also this bike is a little awkward to mount on a bike rake. But your dealer will have the assories that you need to do the same.
Time Used: 3 Months
Comments: I am just impressed with this bike. It is far better than I expected and has been a real joy to ride. The gearing is wonderful and clinbs hill with little effort. Truely a great beginers bike for this spot.
